The Egyptian civilization is considered one of the oldest civilizations on the face of the earth, as it began in about the year 3150 BC, when King Menes united southern and northern Egypt together, and Egypt passed through many historical eras and eras, passing through the Persians (343 BC) and then the arrival of Alexander the Great (323 BC), after which the Ptolemaic state was established, after which the Romans conquered it (31 BC) and it remained under Roman rule for more than 600 years and during the reign of The Romans Egypt witnessed the emergence and spread of Christianity in Egypt, and then came the Islamic conquest in 639 AD. Egypt turned into an Islamic country. Under the Islamic state, many states were established in Egypt, such as the Tulunid state, then the Ikhshidid, then the Fatimid, then the Ayyubid, then the Mamluk states. It also followed many disputes, such as the Umayyad Caliphate, then the Abbasid Caliphate, and finally the Ottoman Caliphate, then it turned into a kingdom (1922), and then it turned into a republic in (1954). From the above, we find that Egypt is the richest country in the world in antiquities, due to its diversity of civilizations and different cultures. Egypt is famous for many antiquities, as a third of the world’s antiquities are located there, and parts of these antiquities are displayed in major museums all over the world. A special science was found to study Egyptian antiquities, called Egyptology. However, despite this civilizational and cultural diversity, it does not occupy an appropriate and appropriate place among the top ten countries in terms of tourism in the world. France, Spain, the United States, and China occupy the list of the most visited countries in the world, according to reports from the World Tourism Organization. There is a missing link between the tourist destination and the tourist, which can only be connected with a strong promotional plan through the tourism media. No matter how much tourism potential the country has, and no appropriate tourist media, it will remain an unknown place for tourists. Hence, tourism marketing policies and procedures have become the most important to put any place on the international tourism map, and with technological development and the spread of social media, marketing methods have become different and more innovative, and no longer stop at the boundaries of traditional methods. The image has a major and prominent role in the success of the tourism process, whether animated or static. This is through introducing the country to its tourist attractions. The continuous development in communication science technology has also contributed to finding new and more effective ways to influence tourism advertising and promotion. The tourism media in Egypt faces many problems, including the lack or absence of tourism programs that display antiquities in an innovative and attractive way. This is in addition to the failure to study the nature of the tourist and know his requirements before the start of the advertising campaign, the failure to choose the appropriate timing for tourism advertising, and the failure to use appropriate media outlets. Also, wars and natural disasters that are published through other media outlets are considered an obstacle to tourism, as tourism is indispensable to the media because the media is a pivotal characteristic necessary for the industry and success of tourism.
