Notes Al-Ghazala House In Al-JedadaNeighorhood in Aleppo in the Ottoman Peried Muhammedkhidir , PH.d(1) The cuurent study is consider as a documentarey ,architectural artistic study . It shdes lights on the architectural essences for the designing of the house in aleppo in the Ottoman peried . Up till now, we donot know exactly the percentage of destruction that happened in this city due to the ongoing war there in the city. The study uncovers those famailies that were living in this huose . afterwared this huose was shifted to a school . The study goes on to give architectural descripition of the house under study. The house is made of many wards ; the north ward consists of two floores . The southern one consists of iwan which is is the most significant component in the Ottman design. As for the eastren ward , it consists of huge base through which the main entrance passes .Finally , the western one made of huge hall with hemispherical dome that distinguishes the huose from others. Next to this house there is an Ottman bath with to nooks above them hemispherical dome with awnings .Moreover ,there are many decorative in the house which affected with the European style at the time . The rooms are ornamented with wood plates with many plant inscriptions and geometrical onse as well.
