This research deals with a specific type of poetry in ancient Turkish literature known as (Eastern) in the Ottoman language or (Şarkı) as it is written today in the Turkish language and means; The song. We will examine the structure of the song (Eastern / Şarkı), its rhyme system, the topics it covers, and the characteristics that characterize it. The research sheds light on the song poets (Eastern / Şarkı) in ancient Turkish literature and its most prominent symbols and presents selections of their works with their translation into Arabic. The research also addresses the most important poets of song in the modern era and presents selections of their works.
