The research reviewed the scientific relations between Egypt and the Levant during the Ottoman era. Egypt has been linked with the Levant through deep political, economic and social ties throughout history by virtue of geographical proximity and the unity of religion, language, customs and common cultural characteristics. The research explained the foundations of scientific communication between Egypt and the Levant, including the subordination of Egypt and the Levant to one rule in most eras, including the Ottoman era, and the entry of a large number of Arab states under Ottoman rule, the most important of which was the lack of restrictions on the movement of population between the Ottoman states. It provided the opportunity for scholars to move between Arab and Islamic cities in general and the great Levantine and Egyptian cities in particular, in freedom and reassurance, not to mention the communication of scholars in Egypt and the Levant with scholars in Istanbul and other Ottoman cities, with a desire to increase their knowledge. From knowledge and contact with Turkish scholars. The article dealt with the role of religious and scientific institutions in Egypt and the Levant, namely, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt, the Umayyad Mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and schools in the Levant. It also explained the role of trips in scientific communication between Egypt and the Levant, and one of the most important travelers who made these trips was Abdul Ghani bin Ismail Al-Nabulsi, which was the trip called (Truth and Metaphor in the Journey to the Levant, Egypt, and Hijaz). Its program was based on several axes, namely, the meetings that brought him together with the men of government and administration in Egypt by virtue of the relationship that was He is linked to Sheikh Al-Bakri, scholarly gatherings, and visits to shrines, mosques, and zawiyas. The research concluded by showing that scientific communication between scholars in both countries was not interrupted throughout the Ottoman era, relying more on the civilizational, intellectual and cultural heritage, as well as geographical neighbourhood.
