Notes This study deals with an important aspect of the social aspects of the city of Nablus, specifically the class of nobles during the nineteenth century AD 1800 - 1900, as one of the social groups that Nablus society consisted of, highlighting their social and economic role in the city and their involvement in its society clearly through buying, selling, marriage, etc., and is based mainly on the records of the Nablus Sharia Court as an important source of social and economic history during the Ottoman era. Because it contains important, valuable, and rich information that other sources lack, these are records, a copy of which is available in the library of An-Najah National University and another in the Documents and Manuscripts Center at the University of Jordan. The study relied on dozens of arguments from these records, distributed over 17 records.
