Notes This research discussed the issue of (dispersing the readings on the Qur’an of the lands), which is a thorny topic attributed to Uthman, may God be pleased with him, when he united the nation on the Imam’s Qur’an. It resulted in some perceptions that emerged from the contingencies of the statement in the history of the reproduction of the Qur’an: - Such as the statement that Uthman, may God be pleased with him, stripped the Qur’an of dots and shapes in order to bear the aspects of the fixed readings, and they have no original basis in this statement or a strong foundation. - The belief that the Companions took into account the word in which the readings were mentioned and drew it in a script that could bear the readings. All together, this indicates an insightful understanding of the Companions, and a complete knowledge of the spelling that was chosen to write the Qur’an, surrounding the aspects of fixed readings, and the matter in it was no longer the rules of writing known at that time. Then the approaches of the imams of writing in saying that the word was written on one of the two readings, as well as the classification of deleting the letters into two parts, so what was on a reading was deleting a sign, and what was not in a reading was deleting an abbreviation, and their rulings varied according to the fixed readings without taking into account what was omitted through the narration, and the research was invalidated These common beliefs among imams, both early and late, in terms of the implications of the narrated narrations regarding the plural incident, some of the sayings of imams in advanced times, and the reality of the narration after the Uthmanic plural in a serious inductive scientific study.
