The study sheds light on an Uthmani copy of the manuscript of Silwan al-Mut`a fi Adwan al-Uba`in by Ibn Zafar al-Saqilli (d. 565 AH/1170 AD), published and studied here for the first time. It is preserved by the French Royal Library under the number: (Suppl.ar.no.539.) Its importance lies in decorating it with colorful photographs explaining what was written in the text of historical topics and stories of kings, caliphs and others, and this has contributed Illustrations in dating the manuscript and determining the time period in which it was copied. This manuscript is located in one volume with seventy-two pages, and contains fifty-eight illustrations. The study aims to introduce the manuscript and its author, and address its topics and history based on its illustrations, while studying the artistic features and features of these images, the method of their implementation, and comparing them with dated examples. To highlight the dating mechanism, and determine the extent of the similarities and differences between the drawings of Ottoman artists, as well as knowing the extent to which these depictions match reality and the truth or not.
