Notes
The problem of the research revolves around Austria’s policy towards Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Russian position on it. There was talk about Austria-Hungary’s annexation of Bosnia in 1878 AD at the end of the eighth decade of the nineteenth century. The interference of Austria-Hungary and Russia in the affairs of the Balkans increased, and one of the results of this was the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Austria-Hungary, and then the political developments in Germany 1856-1873 AD and Russia’s position on it, as Prussia, which is one of the largest German states in the second half of the century, witnessed On the nineteenth century, there were continuous wars in order to complete their political unity. As for the position of Germany and Russia on the outbreak of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Revolution of 1875, multiple factors combined that affected the League of the Three Emperors - which is the alliance between the German Empire, the Russian Empire, and Austria-Hungary, from 1873 to 1887 - which was the renewal of the Eastern Question. A revolution broke out among the peasants of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1875, where The residents of this region submitted a memorandum to the Sublime Porte in which they demanded the reduction of taxes and the formation of a local police from the population of the region, but the Ottoman government not only rejected these demands, but also increased its collections for the second time in a few days, which led to aggravation of the situation in this region, and from here came the problem of the study.
