Notes The research aims to introduce the Islamic World Magazine, an Arabic magazine published in Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire. It is a daily political, religious, social, and literary newspaper. The owner and founder of the newspaper was Abdel Aziz Gawish, a politician and journalist with knowledge of literature and interpretation and a member of the national movement in Egypt. He was of Tunisian origin and was born in Alexandria and educated at Al-Azhar and Dar Al-Ulum. He contacted Mustafa Kamel, who edited Al-Liwaa newspaper and published Al-Hilal newspaper, Al-Hidaya magazine, and then the “Islamic World” magazine. The goal of the Islamic World magazine at that time was to serve the interests of the entire Islamic world, defend its rights, learn religious and political facts, and restore the glory of the Ottoman Empire. The research used the descriptive method and the analytical method, relying on the coordinated collection and analysis of information and data obtained through the issues of the magazine issued by various printing presses. The magazine's topics are divided into political and war topics, social topics, literary topics, economic topics, scientific topics, religious topics, historical topics, and topics specific to Egypt. Egyptian nationalism was the great motivation for Abdel Aziz Gawish's struggle. He wrote about Egyptian news, the real reasons for Napoleon's campaign against Egypt, and the problems of the English in Egypt. Jawish called for reforming education curricula and raising the level of those in charge of the educational process, and attacked the education curricula developed by the occupation. His call for educational reform extended to developing education at Al-Azhar and introducing racial sciences into its curricula. The Islamic World magazine was a public platform in which great writers competed and the most wonderful ideas were expressed.
