This research attempts to shed light on the penetration of the influence of the Empire of Austria-Hungary in the Balkans, since their unification in 1867, its position on the Great Balkan Crisis (1875-1878), the treaties and agreements it concluded with Tsarist Russia and the Ottoman Empire in order to establish its influence in the Balkans, its position on the outbreak of the Russian-Ottoman crisis and war, and the gains that Austria-Hungary achieved during its participation with the rest of the major European countries in the Berlin Conference. Until its occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1879. The research attempts of shed light on the penetration of the influence of the Austria-Hungary empire in the Balkan its position on the Balkan crisis (1875-1878), the treaties and agreements it concluded with Russia and the ottoman empire its to object to the treaty of San-Stefano, its participation in the Berlin conference and the gains it achieved represented by it’s occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the expansion of its spheres of influence in the Balkan until 1879.
