This study deals with the role of the Levant Province in managing the Levant Hajj convoy between the years (1151-1155 AH/1738-1742 AD) and the measures taken by the governor of the Levant in these years, in addition to the measures taken to equip the Levant Hajj convoy, including: securing supplies, guarding, and equipping castles, and the accompanying interest of the Levant Province in allocating financial expenditures to ensure the safety of pilgrims and ease of movement along the The Levantine Hajj route starting from Damascus to Mecca. In this study, we tried to trace the developments witnessed by the Hajj season in the areas of: expenses and preparations, through what was reported by historical documentary sources, especially Ottoman documents - examples of Topkapi Saray documents, taking into account the social and economic data in the areas through which the Hajj caravan passed, the role of the Bedouin tribes in that, the effects of the caravan on the residents of these areas, transactions for purchasing grain and food, renting camels, and accounting for receivables. The study proved that the Levant Province in this historical era, represented by its governor, Suleiman Pasha Al-Azm, made great efforts and clear interest in preparing the Levantine Hajj convoy. Through monitoring expenses, scheduling accounts, reviewing receivables and debts, and dividing donations, which some Ottoman documents provided us with, this interest was confirmed, which was reflected in the success of the Levant Province in managing the Levantine Hajj caravan.
