Notes In this research, I will discuss the most important Ottoman architects who arose in the period between (900-1200 AH / 1500-1800 AD) through the book (Alamler and Sanatkarler), meaning the scholars and masters of the arts, by the Turkish writer and historian Ahmed Rafiq Al-Tinai (1880-1937 AD). Before starting the topic under discussion, we must get to know Ahmed Rafiq Al-Tinai, the author of the book. The last author of ancient history, the first author of modern history, and a pioneer of popular history. Then we continue talking about the art of architecture, which held an important place among all Ottoman arts, and the stages of development of Ottoman architecture, in order to stand on the stages of development of this art throughout the ages and the diversity and differences it witnessed, the most important architects of each period and their efforts to reach this art to its peak, and the interest of the Ottoman sultans, their mothers, their wives, ministers and senior statesmen in immortalizing Their names are the establishment of mosques, mosques, schools, colleges, hospices, avenues, homes for feeding the poor, water aqueducts, and luxurious palaces, and their generosity in spending on them, and the policy followed by the Ottoman sultans in converting many churches into mosques, and the architects who took upon themselves the task of advancing this art, and they are, as the author mentioned: Mimar Sinan, Mimar Davut Agha, Mimar Qasim Agha, and their most important works through which they influenced Ottoman architecture and Islamic civilization in the states. Ottoman and Arabic alike. We will also mention an overview of the lives of the architects under study and the details of the monumental architectural works they created, such as: the date of starting and completing the work, the money that was spent to complete the monument, and its equivalent today.
