The city of Istanbul was a radiant cultural center with its buildings and arts that embodied the greatness of the Ottoman Sultans and their abilities. The buildings of the century (13 AH / 19 AD) were characterized by enormous developments and changes that were different from what had prevailed before. This was represented by the presence of European influences, whether it was the Baroque, Rococo, or Renaissance, which the Turks used in their buildings. The facades and entrances of palaces and porches in the city of Istanbul were like an open museum. It is crowded with various architectural and decorative elements, and perhaps the large total area of the facilities and the presence of a wide empty space in front of them is what prompted the architect to take care of the external architectural and decorative formation of the facades, which is what prompted me to choose this topic. The research aims to highlight the artistic value of these multiple elements, and this was done through several axes: First: The introduction addresses the definition of the buildings subject of the study in terms of location, originator and date of construction, Second: Architects, Third: Raw materials and building materials, Fourth: Decorative methods, Fifth: Architectural elements, Sixth: Decorative elements, Seventh: The cultural identity of the Ottoman Empire in the research period and the impact of this on the abundance and diversity of European influences on “Ottoman” artistic and architectural production. Finally, the research results. The research was concluded with a large number of maps, figures, and explanatory panels.
