Criticism and critical approach, which has a very important place in our fiqh tradition, could occur between different fiqh sects or between jurists belonging to the same sect. It is known that this culture was kept alive in the most vivid way, especially in Abu Hanifa's fiqh lessons. One of those who adopted the critical method within the sect is Sheikh Bedreddin, one of the important jurists trained by the Hanafi school of fiqh in the Ottoman geography. An important part of Bedreddin's criticisms consists of his inquiries into the views of the imams of the Hanafi sect. These criticisms of his did not remain unanswered within the sect; Molla Hüsrev, the great scholar raised by the Ottoman Empire, responded to these objections of Bedreddin in a harsh manner, without mentioning any names, in his work on fiqh, ed-Dürer. In this article; The criticisms of these two scholars, who left permanent traces in Hanafi Law Literature, are included. As an introduction to the subject, the biographies of both scholars and their works on fiqh were briefly touched upon; Evaluations were made on these points by benefiting from the opinions of other jurists who were involved in the discussions.
