Notes Dâvud Ağa, who was one of Mimar Sinan's apprentices and became the head of the Hassa Architects Corps Organization after his death, served as the chief architect of the empire between 1588-98. It is clear that Dâvud Ağa, who had the chance to put his signature on the inscription of Çarşamba Mehmed Ağa Mosque, which was built during Mimar Sinan's lifetime and when he was the chief architect, was one of the architects who were found successful and supported by Sinan. Dâvud Ağa, who later put his signature on the inscription on the fountain of Divanyolu Koca Sinan Pasha Complex and Sinan Pasha Pavilion, was a continuation of Ottoman architecture and the Sinan school, and also reflected his own sense of style in the works he built. Davud Agha, who added his own stylistic features to the architectural knowledge he acquired from Sinan, also influenced the architects after him. In this study, the works signed by Dâvud Ağa will be examined in every respect and the style of the chief architect will be tried to be determined.
