The second courtyard of the Topkapi Saray Museum in Istanbul contains a group of marble endowments dating back to the Ottoman era, the inscriptions of which were inscribed in the Ottoman Turkish language. It is clear from the writings of these endowments that they were endowed for the various architectural departments that make up the Topkapi Palace and for those working in it, and their custodians were themselves those who worked and held functional positions in this palace. This research paper aims to study a group of these Ottoman marble endowments, numbering six, in terms of their general appearance, knowing their original locations, conditions for establishing the endowment, the decorative elements that adorn them and the language in which they were recorded, in addition to translating and analyzing their writing to know the architectural sections endowed to them, knowing their custodians and their jobs, knowing the amount and quality of the endowment, ways of spending the endowment, monetary units and standards used in the endowment, those responsible for the endowment and their titles and who they are.
