Notes Autobiographical treatise by the physician and philosopher Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Zakarīyā al-Rāzī (Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Zakaria al-Rāzī; d. ca 925) in defense of his philosophical lifestyle. Begins (f. 1v, lines 6-8): Abu Nasr (!) Muhammad bin Zakaria Al-Razi said, May God grant his soul peace and comfort People of insight, distinction, and achievement when they saw us interacting with people and behaving in their faces They abused us and belittled us... Ends (f. 5v, lines 9-11): This is what we wanted to say goodbye in this article, and to the Grantor of reason we praise without end As he is worthy and deserving, may God bless the chosen ones Of His servants and the good deeds of His female slaves Colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. (f. 5v, lines 12-17): He completed the book of philosophical biography God Almighty is praised in every situation Always, forever, forever This is followed by an article by Abu Mansur Bakr bin Oath (!)
