This text has been copied in a much smaller hand than the rest of the texts in the volume, but palaeographic similarities, especially a distinctive e (e.g. compare the first word of fol. 14a, line 10 [he] with the second word of fol. 14a, line 1 [he]) show that it was.

Were it not for piety, I would have demonstrated a miracle. Through My wisdom, hearts will be healed of blindness. I love to show honor and pretend to do what I have taught, while the mind forbids them.
And I do not want to meet a wealthy fool ° in the worlds, nor an intelligent person who is destitute ° and people are either unjust or ignorant ° So when will I be able to be gracious and conversant °
