Philosophical treatise on the soul by Abū Manṣūr Bakr ibn al-Qāsim ibn Abī Thawr al-Mawṣilī (Abu Mansur Bakr ibn al-Qasim ibn Abi Thawr al-Mawsili) written for his teacher Abū ‘Uthmān Sa‘īd ibn Ya‘qūb al-Dimashqī (Abu Uthman Saeed ibn Yaqoub al-Dimashqi; d. early 10th century).

Damascene. Peace be upon you, I wrote to you and live since you left
