Alphabetical handbook on pharmacology by Abū ‘Alī Yahyá ibn ‘Īsá (Abu Ali Yahya Ibn Isa Ibn Jazlah), known as Ibn Jazlah. The full title is
Minhāj al-bayān fī mā yast‘amaluhu al-insān
(Minhaj al-Bayan regarding what humans use), but the title page (f. 1r) records the title as
Fuṣūl al-sitta
(The Six Chapters) which is probably a reference to the six sections (
fuṣūl
/chapters) of the first chapter (
maqālah
/article) of the text.
The text is divided into two
