Philosophical treatise on logic by Abū al-Najā al-Fāriḍ (Abu al-Najā al-Fārid).
Begins (f. 16v, lines 11-12):
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, his family, and his pure companions
And his pure wives, the mothers of the believers, and peace be upon him...
Ends (f. 26r, line 26-26v, line 2):
...and us
There are many books on logic and its corruption, which contain numerous issues that we have not mentioned in the survey
In this book, the answer to what is in it should be hasty, as it may be more comprehensive than the need and conclusive in its place.
The sign, may God help and grant success
Colophon

(f. 26v, lines 3-7):

Praise be to God, always and forever, for He is the guardian of justice
And the one who overflows with generosity and bestows reason, to him is grace and generosity
This is followed by a message to Sinan
Bin Thabit bin Qurrah Al-Harrani, may God have mercy on him
