Almagest
(Almagest) of Ptolemy (Claudius Ptolemaeus, Ptolemy of Claudius; c 90-c 168).
The text contains numerous diagrams.
Inserted between ff. 305 and 306 is a scrap of wove paper (almost certainly Western) on which is written bibliographical details of the text. Both the wording and script are very similar to the words found on the title page (f. 1r, lower middle of page).

Praise be to God, who made us thinkers about the creation of the heavens and the earth and inspired us with the path to knowing the magnitudes of movements
