Notes	Two short extracts on tuberculosis. The first extract (ff. 1v, line 1-2r, line 9) is said to be from the Hippocratic Treatments (المعالجات البقراطية), a medical compendium by Abū al-Ḥasan Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Ṭabarī al-Turunjī (أبو الحسن أحمد بن محمد الطبري الترنجي), personal physician to the Buyid amīr Rukn al-Dawlah (ركن الدولة; reg. 947-76). The second extract (f. 2r, line 10 to edge margin) is said to be from 'the book of our late grandfather Amīn Bek' (كتاب المرحوم جدنا أمين بك, f. 2r, edge margin, transcribed below, see also statements on ff. 143, line 24 and 165, lines 1-2). This book is likely to be the Speedy Cure and Guaranteed Remedy (الشفاء العاجل والدواء الكافل) by the Ottoman litterateur, poet and physician of Mosul Muḥammad Amīn Bek ibn Ibrāhīm Bek ibn Yūnus Afandī ibn Yāsīn Afandī al-Muftī ibn Maḥmūd Afandī (محمد أمين بك بن إبراهيم بك بن يونس أفندي بن ياسين أفندي المفتي بن محمود أفندي, d. ca 1812, see Raʾūf, 'al-Adīb al-ṭabīb Muḥammad Amīn Bek Āl Yāsīn al-Muftī al-Mawṣilī' [2016]), known as known as Amīn Bek Yāsīn Afandīzādah (أمين بك ياسين أفندي زاده, see. f. 165v, line 2). Further extracts from this text copied by the same hand are found on ff. 3v-90v (in margins), 140v-145r and 165v-171r.
