), by Pedanius Dioscorides (Πεδάνιος Διοσκουρίδης, Dioscorides; ca AD 40- ca 90) of Anazarbus (modern Anavarza in south-central Turkey).

Begins (f. 2r, lines 1-3):
It is straight and the penis is round and does not have layers, but rather it is one thing
Both of them are similar in taste, as they appear at first, but it is found in their taste
The sweetness of the fruit later changes its taste, containing some bitterness...

It is the tail of the scorpion and is called Samarioma. It is a leafy plant
It is small and has a seed similar to a scorpion's tail, and this seed, if it sticks, is beneficial
