A comprehensive manual on pharmaceutical practice and ethics composed at Cairo in 658 AH/AD 1260 by the Jewish pharmacist Abū al-Muná Dāwūd ibn Abī Naṣr ibn Ḥifāẓ al-Kūhīn al-'Attar al-Isrā’īlī al-Hārūnī (Abu al-Muna Dāwū ibn Abi Nasr ibn Haffaz al-Kuhin, the Israeli Attar al-Harouni, see f. 1v, lines 5-6, transcribed below).
The text is arranged in twenty-five chapters (sections), and a table of contents in found on ff. 1v-2r. This copy is defective at the end at some point in or after Chapter 21 (see f. 78r, lines 5-6), although the precise location is difficult to screen as rubrics have been omitted on ff. 86r-95v.
