Manual of dream interpretation in eighty chapters (Chapters) by the mamluk historian Ghars al-Dīn Khalīl ibn Shāhīn al-Ẓāhirī (Ghars al-Din Khalil ibn Shaheen al-Zahiri, d. 1468). A list of the chapters with their title and the folio on which they begin is given on ff. 4v-6v
On the title page (f. 2r) and on the tail edge of the book block, the title is given as The Book of Dream Interpretation and the author is called al-ʻAllāmah ibn Shāhīn. The author mentions that he wrote another treatise called The Shining Star Concerning the Principles of Interpretation (The Enlightening Planet in the Origins of Expression, f. 277r, line13).

Praise be to God who created Adam from clay, then breathed into him a spirit and chose him for the message as He chose him
Idris after him, and Noah, and he took Abraham as a friend, Moses as a ruler, and Ishmael as a sacrifice
He gave Hud victory over Ad, and he made iron for David, and he enlarged the spirit for Solomon on earth
And He subjected to him a wind, and supported Salih with his signs and Aaron with his message, and made Christ a sign and a spirit
Ends (f. 277r, lines 15-23):
...I concluded this book with the benefit of its explanation of the vision
This is what was narrated on the authority of Abd al-Ala bin al-Najm, who said, “Bit (?) one night during the days of Abu Harish and Ibn Halaf al-Mughafiri.”
In Egypt, it was a Friday night, and I was saying to myself, “I don’t know who followed Abu Harish and his companions,” and he said
By the creation of the Qur’an, or by Ibn Halaf and his companions, and he used to say that the Qur’an is the word of God Almighty, uncreated. He said
When I went to bed and slept, I saw a phone call coming to me and saying, “Get up,” so I got up and he said to me, “Say,” so I said, “What do I say?”
He said, “Say, ‘Saad, Glory be to Him who raised the sky without pillars to behold, so that it was decorated with shining stars and the moon
He did not say that He created the Qur’an by creating Him except disbelief, but these are words revealed from the Creator of mankind and He said to me
Write, so I extended my hand to one of my books and wrote it in it, and when I woke up I saw it written in the book
God Almighty knows what is right, and to Him is the return and the return. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds
