Commentary by Muḥammad Kāẓim ibn ‘Abd al-‘Alī al-Tankābunī (Muhammad Kadhim Abd al-Ali al-Tankābunī, d. after 1623-4, see al-Amīn,
Mustadrakāt a‘yān al-shī‘ah
, vol. 2, p. 308) on the
Anatomy of the Spheres
(Anatomy of the Heavens) by al-Tankābunī’s teacher Bahā’ al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ḥusayn al-‘Āmilī (Baha al-Din Muhammad ibn Husayn al-Amili; d. 1621). The title of the commentary is mentioned on f. 3v, line 9. Al-Tankābunī completed his commentary at Mashhad on 6 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1007/30 June 1599 (see ff. 159v, line 6-160r, line 1, transcribed below), and dedicated it to the Safavid sultan Abū al-Muẓaffar Shāh ‘Abbās (I) al-Ḥusaynī al-Mūsawī (Abu al-Muzaffar Shah Abbas al-Husayni al-Musawi al-Safavi, reg. 1587-1629, see f. 4v, lines 5-6).
The text contains numerous diagrams.
The copy was completed on 8 Rajab 1033/26 April 1624 by Muḥammad Sa‘īd ibn Ḥājjī (?) Muḥammad al-Kīlānī (Muhammad Sa`id bin Haji [?] Muhammad al-Kilani, see

God, the sovereign King, I am not free from Dhul-Hijjah
In the year one thousand and seven of the Hijra, the best of the wild is better than the bald (?)
It has the best prayers and greetings with the appearance of our Master and Lord
Imam Al-Hammam, the eighth guarantor, Abu Al-Hasan Ali bin Musa
Satisfaction with him is the best of prayers and greetings
I complete it, and I am the one who supplicates to Him, the one who clings to the generation of His guardianship
Humiliate him in this world, my afterlife, my death, and my life, Muhammad Kazem
