Notes	Anonymous epitome (summary) of a lost treatise by Sharaf al-Dīn al-Muẓaffar ibn Muḥammad al-Ṭūsī (Sharaf al-Din al-Muzaffar ibn Muhammad al-Tusi; d. 1213) on cubic equations fundamental to algebraic geometry (see the epitomiser's preface, f. 35, lines 2-7, transcribed below and edited by Rashed in Sharaf al-Dīn Muẓaffar ibn Muḥammad Ṭūsī, Available mathematics: algebra and geometry at XII. , vol. 1 [Paris: Les Belles Lettres, 1986], p. 2). The text contains numerous diagrams, which are collected on a fold out (f. 180r) following the text.
