Questions on metaphysical topics posed by Abū al-Ḥasan Bahmanyār ibn al-Marzubān (Abu al-Hasan Bahmnyar ibn al-Marzban, d. 1066) and answered by his teacher Abū ʻAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʻAbd Allāh (Abu Ali al-Husayn ibn Abdullah), known as Ibn Sīnā (Ibn Sīnā, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037).
