The copy was completed on 7 Shawwāl 833/29 June 1430 by the scribe Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan (Muhammad ibn Hasan, see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 49r, lines 13-17, transcribed below). F. 28v is empty. Content: Section one on the merit of knowledge (Chapter One on the Virtue of Knowledge, ff. 1v-5v); Section two on the rectitude of the intention to seek knowledge (Chapter Two on the rectification of the intention to seek knowledge, ff. 5v-12r); Section three on the most erudite scholars (Chapter Three on Virtuous Signs, ff. 12r-23v); Section four on the important sciences and their branches (Chapter Four on the Important Sciences and Their Branches, ff. 23v-32v); Section five on conditions and defects of argumentation Section six on the proper behavior of the teacher and the student (Chapter Six on the Etiquette of the Teacher and the Learner, ff. 38v-43v); Section seven on what scholars are allowed to take from rulers' money (Chapter Seven on what scholars are allowed to take from the rulers' money, ff. 43v-49r).
