Anonymous treatise or fragment of a treatise on multipication. The text treats of two methods (مسلكان) of a type of multiplication it refers to as ضرب التوشيح.
Begins (f. 1r, lines 1-3):
وضرب التوشيح وهو أن تضع المضروب في اليمين والمضروب فيه في اليسار متحاذية المراتب بحيث يكون الآحاد
تحت العشرات وهي تحت المئات ويكون بينهما فرجة ليتسع العمل فاضرب أعلى مراتب المضروب في كل واحد واحد
من مراتب المضروب فيه ...
Ends (f. 2v, lines 5-7):
المسلك الثاني ضرب الأصفار وهو أن تجمع مراتب المضروبين ويلقي الواحد
عن المجموع وترتسم بعدة الباقي أصفارًا فتضرب أولًا أول المضروب في أول
المضروب فيه وتضع آحاد الحاصل فوق أول الأصفار وعشراته إن كانت له تلك
