The Observers' Delight Concerning the Science of Ghubār
(Explanation of Nuzhat al-Nazar fi the Science of Dust) by Shihāb al-Dīn Abū al-‘Abbās Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Faraḍī (Shihabuddin Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Fardi), known as Ibn al-Hā’im (Ibn al-Hā’im, d. 1412, see f. 2v, lines 10-11).
Begins (f. 2v, lines 3-5):
Praise be to the Just Breeze, while he divided the world with the deaf root
The one and only one with the foot, I praise Him for countless blessings
Numbers are not attended by singles, and I pray for his specific Prophet
Ends (ff. 128v, line 15-129r, line 13):
...This is the last thing that God Almighty has given (?) as an explanation
On the book called Nazhat Al-Nazar
In the science of dust, God made him pure
For his honorable face and Agral (?) for his author
The supervisors and its clerks are the representatives
In the gardens of bliss, praise be to God
Lord of the worlds on our master
May God bless our master Muhammad
And peace be upon his family and companions
All together, I am satisfied with it
He is sufficient for me and yes
The agent is powerless
There is no strength except in God
