Persian summary of his own philosophical teachings by Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh (Abu Ali al-Husayn ibn Abdullah), known as Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037), written for the Kākūyid amir ʿAlāʾ al-Dawlah Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn Rustam Dushmanziyār (Ala al-Dawla Abu Ja`far Muhammad ibn Rustam Dushmanziyar, reg. ca 1008-1041).
The text is divided into three sections:
Logic, ff. 258v-271r;
Metaphysics (Science of Braine, ff. 271v-295v);
Physics (Zirin's science and natural science, ff. 295v-310r).
The text is often known by the title
