Fatḥīyah Treatise on the Use of the Sine Quadrant
(The Fatiha Treatise on the Work on the Answered Quarter) in twenty chapters (Chapter) by Badr al-Dīn Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Shāfi‘ī al-Miṣrī al-Dimashqī (Badr al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Shafi’i al-Misri al-Dimashqi, b. 1423, d. 1490), known as Sibṭ al-Māridīnī (Tribe of the Mardini), timekeeper (timekeeper) of the al-Azhar Mosque at Cairo.
