A commentary by al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn Niẓām al-Dīn al-Aʿraj al-Nīsābūrī (Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn Nizam al-Din al-Araj al-Naysaburi; d. 1328 or 9) on the
Kitāb al-tadhkirah fī al-hay’ah
(The Authority’s ticket book; see British Library, MS Or.11209) a treatise on the astronomical system presented in the
Almagest
of Ptolemy (Claudius Ptolemaeus; c 90-c 168) by Naṣīr al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Ṭūsī (Nasir al-Din Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tusi; d. 1274).
The text contains numerous diagrams. The copy was completed on 20 Jumādá II 1062/May 29 1652 by Muḥammad Qāsim (?) ibn Muḥammad Ṭāhir al-Iṣfahānī (Muhammad Qasm [?] bin Muhammad Tahir al-Isfahani, see scribe's

Praise be to God, who made us think about the creation of the earth and the heavens and honored us with looking at the form of creative bodies.
Contemplating the things that are created and contemplating the affairs of things that are managed has guided us to the existence of a powerful and wise Maker who is expert in his rank
The highest and most prestigious of the ranks of possibilities...
Ends (f. 119v, lines 11-14):
...And what I found in clarifying this book made the sweat of the brow and the toil of the right hand an insight for the thinkers
In the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and a reminder to those who contemplate the wondrous works of the Lord of the Worlds, a means to the Day of Judgment and a cause.
He who is pleased with the Most Merciful of the Merciful, for actions are based on intentions and through them bring blessings and obtain degrees and praise to the Creator of all
And blessings be upon the guide to the straight paths, and peace be upon those who follow guidance...

The beginning of the writing of this book was the beginning of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the months of the year seven hundred and eleven, may God have mercy on those
If he looks into it, he prays for me to do good, and I am the poorest of God Almighty’s creation to forgive him. Al-Hasan bin Muhammad is known as Nizam Al-Nayshaburi.
God organized his conditions in the two worlds...
