Beginnings (f. 157r, 2-5):
We want to explain these additions to Abbas bin Saeed in the fifth article of Euclid's book
The ratios of one to the second and the third to the fourth are what they are if taken for the first
The third is equal, and the second and fourth are equal, i.e. doubles
She found the first and third fold...
Ends (f. 158v, lines 1-4):
...proof that
The value of e is more relative to h than t to i, e, and r, and they are equal times no, c, and the ratio
A to H is more than C to T and H and T are equal times the magnitudes of B and D Fa more
Relative to B from C to D, and that is what we wanted to show
