Notes Unattributed bibliography of 173 texts by the physician and philosopher Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Zakarīyā al-Rāzī (Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Zakaria al-Rāzī; d. ca 925) with brief synopses of their contents. The bibliography differs from that produced by Abū al-Rayḥān Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Bīrūnī (Abu al-Rayhan Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Biruni, ca 973-1048; Book of Bērūnī containing the repertoire of Muḥammad b. Zakarīyā ar-Rāzī, Paul Kraus ed. [Paris: G.P. Maisonneuve, 1936]), which lists 184 texts. Contents: Beginnings (f. 108v, lines 4-7): His book on proof has two articles, the first article has seventeen chapters and the second has twelve chapters His book, titled Spiritual Medicine, aims to reform the paths and its chapters Twenty chapters of his book on the fact that man is a wise creator and contains evidence of Anatomy and the benefits of organs: Human creation cannot occur by agreement Ends (f. 113r, lines 15-19): His book on the seven stars on wisdom, his book on covering (!) secrets In craftsmanship, his book on the secrets of medicine is a great book written in Al-Fasd, which is his book’s treatise on properties.
