Notes Arabic version of the This space is moved (Περὶ κινουμένης σφαίρας;The Book of the Moving Ball) by the astronomer, mathematician and geographer Autolycus of Pitane (Αὐτόλυκος ὁ Πιταναῖος; Eulogus; fl. 300 BC), translation from the Greek revised by Thābit ibn Qurrah (Thābit ibn Qurrah; d. 901). The diagrams are collected on a fold out (f. 10r) following the text. At the end of the text is a collation note in Persian dated 17 Jumādá I without mention of the year (f. 9v), probably 1198 (8 April 1784). Contents: Begins (f. 1v, lines 2-4): Editing of the book The Moving Ball by Autologus was fixed by Thabit and it is an article One and twelve figures released the point that moves in a modified motion It is the one that proceeds in times of equal magnitudes that are similar Ends (f. 9v, lines 2-4): It is a perpendicular on the surface of a circle B, E, and the surface is what is next to this and behind Just the center of the ball, so each of the two circles is ABC, H, and E B E is great and that's what we wanted
