Fatḥīyah Treatise on the Use of the Sine Quadrant
(The Fatiha Treatise on the Work in the Answered Quarter, see f. 52r, line 10) in twenty chapters (Chapter) by Badr al-Dīn Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Shāfi‘ī al-Miṣrī al-Dimashqī (Badr al-Din Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Shafi’i al-Masri) Al-Dimashqi, b. 1423, d. 1490), known as Sibṭ al-Māridīnī (tribe of al-Māridīnī), timekeeper (timekeeper) of the al-Azhar Mosque at Cairo.

Ali, who is Ibn Ghanem, said: “He was the best of Ghanem.”
Praise be to the Lord of the Worlds alone, then may peace and blessings be upon him
