Short essay on space by Abū ʻAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʻAbd Allāh (Abu Ali Al-Hussein bin Abdullah), known as Ibn Sīnā (Avicenna, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037). The text is a response to a question posed to him in his youth by an unnamed person.
In the present manuscript, this text does not have a title as such, but rather begins with the question labeled 'question to the Chief Shaykh [i.e., Avicenna], may his secret be sanctified' (a question about the Chief Sheikh, may his secret be sanctified), before moving to the main portion of the text labeled 'its answer from the Chief Shaykh, may his secret be sanctified'.
