Treatise on drugs by Taqī al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ṣadr al-Dīn 'Alī (Taqī al-Dīn Muhammad ibn Sadr al-Dīn Ali, see f. 136v, line 5, fl. ca 1600).
The treatise is followed by three folios (ff. 234r-236v) of Persian verse.
Begins (f. 136v, lines 2-5):
The beauty of the preface of every treatise is the wisdom of a wise author who stirs the hearts of the master of intellects (?)
Scientific and practical wisdom guided him, and adorning the sermon of every copy, there is no noble messenger like Zanq
The reason for the crime of debauchery is due to the reasonableness of the minds of the people with good hearts (?) and the intentions of asceticism upon him and his family, may God bless him and grant him peace.
