Notes
Treatise on arithmetic by Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad al-Qabāqibī al-Ḥalabī (Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Qabaqbi al-Halabi, d. 851/1447-8).
Beginnings (f. 129v, lines 2-4):
Praise be to God, who is unique in permanence (!) and ancient in all kinds
Numbers and the amount of the rib of the deaf person who taught with the pen
Unless a person knows...
Ends (270r, lines 7-13):
...and every line of that was confirmed
It is the sum of the lines of the sides of that copy
The first, and God knows best, is sufficient for us
God is the best disposer of affairs and prayed
May God bless our master Muhammad
And upon his family and companions
And peace be upon him
