Praise be to God who has bestowed upon us our master Muhammad, Colophon: The completion of writing it was on the blessed third day of the twenty-sixth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1193 in the year one hundred and thousand ninety-three of the Hijra, may God bless him and grant him peace, at the hand of its writer, Abd al-Majid al-Sharif al-Sahrjati al-Shafi’i Ghafir. May God bless him and his parents and those who pray for him for forgiveness, Amen. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. A few marginal notes. Text in red and commentary in black.
