Note on the title page that it contains poetry, tales, stories of the prophets, lessons and traditions., Collation: Paper ; fol. 305 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 21-25 lines per page., Description: Overlining in red ; written on several kinds of paper and apparently by different hands ; watermarks (three crescents, grapes, other unidentified) ; MS in fair condition, stained with water and mended., Origin: According to colophon copy completed 25 [Rajab?] 1[?]28 by Ḥasan ibn Ḥusayn (fol. 305b)., Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم يا فتاح يا عليم وبه نستعين نحمد من شرح صدوزنا ... وبعد فيقول ... مرعى ابن يوسف الجيلى اعلم ان من اجل العلوم في القدر والشأن واعظمها في السرّ والبرهان علم النظر والاستدلال ..., Colophon: تمت [تم] الکتاب بحمد الله وعونه. کتبه الفقير الحقير المذنب العاصي الراجي رحمة ربّه الباقي حسن بن حسين غفر الله لي ولوالدي واحسن اليهما واليه [اليّ] ولمن نظر هذه النسخة الشرﯦﻔ[ﺔ] في کل اوقات. آمين سنه 28]1] 125محرم. الهي انت مقصودي ورضاك مطلوبي | Later? type III (without flap) binding in red leather with brown leather spine. Gold-stamped mandorla and gold- and blind-tooled edging. Leather doublures. Flap missing. Apparently covers from a type II binding were re-used without the slap and spine to create this binding. | Ownership signature: Muḥyī al-Dīn ibn Khalīl ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻUthmān al-Quṣaybatī al-Ṣāliḥī dated 1263 (fol. 1a).
