Notes Twenty-nine pentastics, each rhyming in a different letter of the Arabic alphabet; Containing mostly advice and counsel of a religious nature. | Collation: Paper; fol. 16 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Description: Headings in red; verse separators in red; full vowel signs; MS in good condition., Layout: 5 lines per page with interlinear glosses., Marginal and interlinear glosses., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied 1136 (fol. 16a)., Title from title page (fol. 1a)., Colophon: The five-pointed poem was completed in the year six [six] thirty-one hundred and thousand, Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Blessed be the Possessor of the Most High and the Pride. * He is unique in majesty and permanence Contemporaneous type III (without flap) binding in red leather. Simple blind tooling line decoration on cover. Red paper doublures with gold block-pressed floral pattern. | Title page has an autograph of an owner (Ismāʻīl) and a seal impression with: ... ʻalá ... fī kull al-umūr tasʻad.
