With illustrations., Collection: Paper ; fol. i + 74 + i ; Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals., Layout: 17-20 lines per page ; fol. 45b-59a frame-ruled in red or black., Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (three crescents, roman-alphabet letters) ; MS in good condition., Decoration: Some chapter headings are decorated (f. 18b, 20a, etc.). Includes illustrations (fol. 11a, 35b). Small portrait on the title page added at a later time., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and by Him we seek help, the opening of the Book. Praise be to God, who distinguished man with rational speech in the same way as animals, and made it a close chapter to be taken in the definition of his essence... And then the humiliated and sinful servant says... Father Joachim, one of the Canonical Panilite monks, Ending: Anba Louis Al-Jasri provided a useful teaching on that in his book The Duties of the Priesthood. In the fifth chapter of the sixth article, it has been done \| Contemporaneous? Quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in brown leather and paper.
