This is the Book of the Command. He began the obligatory duties and avoidance of forbidden things. Abdullah Ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Sadfi said... -- [Counseling oneself] In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... The eminent jurist Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Fath, may God have mercy on him, said, Praise be to God, whose inspiration and source are slaves, so whoever obeys Him... -- [Book Backbiting] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, may God’s prayers and peace be upon Muhammad and his family. Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Saeed narrated to us, he said recently, Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Baghdadi... -- [A brief book of meanings] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... The meaning of the notables. God Almighty said, “The Messenger believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and God Almighty said, “Religion: They believe in the unseen” ... -- [Obstruction in the obligatory duties] In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... This is a book in which the withholding in the religious duties is based on cause and lineage, so lineage is kinship..., Colophon: [Summary of the Book of the Order] And it was completed on the day of the Athenian, the seventh of the month of Dhul-Qa’dah, in the year seven hundred and fifty-eight, and he wrote it in his own handwriting for himself, the poor servant to God Almighty, Abd al-Sadiq Ibn Ali Ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Maghribi al-Maliki, peace be upon him?
