And then he says, “Fakir, may God have mercy on him.” Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Ghazali was originally from Damascus and was born in Egypt. Famous for the tribe of Mardini... -- [This is a letter of a quarter of a circle] Praise be to God who placed over the green sea of the sphere arches of arches extending to the heavens..., Colophon: The completion of the commentary of this blessed explanation was on Tuesday, the second month of Rabi’ al-Thani, in the year twelve after the thousand of the Prophet’s migration. Best prayers and peace be upon its owner. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, and always with great peace until the Day of Judgment. Praise be to God alone -- [This is a quarter-circle message] completed | 1. fol. 1b: [astronomical inscription], 2. fol. 2a-36b: Kitāb al-Qawl al-Mubdiʻ fī sharh al-Muqniʻ / lil-Shaykh Badr al-Dīn Muḥammad Sibṭ al-Māridīnī.
