Notes A treatise on the Saʻdīyah order (a branch of the Rifāʻīyah). | Ms. codex., Title from the beginning of text on fol. 2a., The main text ends on fol. 109b and is followed on fol. 110a-111b by a Saʻdīyah prayer and dhikr, in the same hand as the main text., Description: 17-23 lines per page. Written in a small medium naskh in black ink with use of red. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Thick cream glazed paper with "three crescents" watermark., Origin: Copied by Aḥmad Yūsuf al-Zuhayrī al-Saʻdī and completed on the 14th of Ṣafar 1224 (1809) -- colophon (fol. 109b)., Incipit: Praise be to God, He separated the phases of mankind and separated the types of flowers and fruit sleeves. ...And then this is a message in explaining the path of the Saadi masters, telling about the origin of their path and refuting evil from them. Explicit: If you doubt it, you will perish and regret it. O Lord, bless the Prophet Muhammad, his companions, and the family all together | Half leather with envelope flap. Covers and the envelope flap are in a decorative paper, cream with a flower pattern painted in green and grey. Brown leather on spine, front edge flap and, decorated with blind fillets, around edges of covers. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in yellow paper.
