Gold circle sentence dividers (fol. 1b-4a)., Origin: According to colophon copy completed Muḥarram 1163 by Ibrāhīm ibn Muṣṭafá ibn Ibrāhīm (fol. 215a)., Incipit: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, who made words the molds of meanings and preferred them to other sounds... As for Then the poor servant says to the kindness of the old Sheikh Mustafa bin Hamzah, may God grant them residence by His grace in Paradise..., Colophon: The book was completed with the word of God, King Al-Wahhab, in the school of Uqjizad in his country...? In the month of Muharram, at the end of Friday, from the hand of Abd al-Da’eef to the skilled and capable servant to him, Ibrahim bin Mustafa bin Ibrahim, he forgave her and him and took him into custody... and his parents in the year 1163 | Later type II (with flap) binding in dark red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled edging. Orange paper pastedowns and flyleaves. Flap is missing. Some evidence of previous binding. | Ownership signatures: Muṣṭafá ibn Aḥmad with his seal impression, another signature and two more seal impressions (fol. 1a).
